Learning so far

He learnt following things.

- could tell his second part of his name "Siddharth" as "Siiiidddddddaa.."
- could identify things by name (ball, tv, remote, top, stack, elephant, etc).
- could identify the pictures (elephant, cock, auto, ball, zebra, lion)
- could tell
- how rocket goes : raises both hand upwards with a whistling sound.
- how a helicopter goes : both hands in circular motion pointing upward
- how a train goes : both hands in circular motion forward
- could identify body parts (eye, nose, ear, hair, head, fingers, stomach, leg).
- mocks crying, very funny (with both hands on eyes, with crying sound of ammma.... ammma...)
- could put rings on a pole. haven't learnt the order yet.
- socializing (hello, shake hands, good morning, good night, kiss)
- identifies time to bed. When we put the bed, he comes and lays down.
- tries to dance. He does few good steps. He does whenever a beat song comes.
- seems he loves songs. He listens patiently for few good songs.(Vizhi moodi yosithall.., )
- we haven't allowed him earlier to eat by himself fearing he will put everything into his mouth. Slowly started teaching to eat by himself, he now does that for chips, pori, chappathi..
- tries to draw lines on slate, paper using pencils.
- knows when someone takes photo or video. Give poses. And after the click, he runs behind too see how it has come
- he often brings my mobile camera and ask us to show the photos and videos of himself.
- we have got a big ball with pictures and letters on it and also few posters/books about alphabets, animals, fruits, vehicles. We are not sure, whether he understood them or not, but he liked the learning & teaching. Very often, he himself takes them and compels us to teach something in it. He is able to identify now few birds, vehicles.
- playing skills. Could throw the ball, push the ball with bat/stick, imitates talking over phone, play with cars
- one thing he has learnt well is to organize things neatly (sometimes :-)). He often arranges things in kitchen as he spends most of day time with mom in the kitchen. He brings all the plates out of kitchen and puts them in bookshelf or tray. Often, we had to search for things in dustbin, someother place where we would not image it would have been there.
- stamps on the ants with a sound
- could climb stairs alone and come down.
- identifies dove as there are few near my house. identifies moon & stars in night

He is 1 year 4 months now.

Accident with Milk

He pulled a hot glass of milk on him few months back. We were shocked and worried what to do. Called immediately our usual doctor. He told to keep him under shower immediately for 15 mins to minimize the effect of burning. Kept him under running tap water. He was all crying. Then went to emergency ward of the hospital. They cleaned the would there and kept him in hospital for 2 days. They applied colagen under GA. It is coming well now. Collagen has fallen off. He is getting his normal skin back.

The skin doctor seemed to have a separate clinique. Once he asked us to come there instead of our regular hospital. He thrusted a costly oinment which cost around 950 bugs for 10g. He asked us to apply for 3 months. It only came for a week. Calculating the loss, I asked him to change the cream when we had next visit. It cost around 650 bug for 100 gms. That seemed to be reasonable.

Mischiefs, activity

mm.. no post for a long time.

He is growing well. He hasn't learnt to speak well. He blabbers something. But so sweet.

He is very active for his age. He constantly running around, playing with toys, throwing everthing at his hand.

Nowadays, he has grown a little. He is able to climb on the rolling tea poi & chairs. He climbs up and stands there erect, pointing all the things with his finger. It looks like he want to give commands by standing tall on the chair. We can't leave him alone with nearby chairs and things which he can easily climb. I wanted to buy him a chair few weeks ago, a small one. But could not get one. So I got a stool of about 8 inches. He liked it. Sameway, he was climbing on it and enjoyed sitting on it. But, he fell from it twice. So, I've put it out of his reach.
